The Maresch Family started the company more than 40 years ago in Austria. Limelight Design was created as the South African sister branch of Maresch Kristall Leuchten in Austria, by a 3rd generation daughter, who ran the business for 6 years in South Africa and is now under new management for 4 years. Limelight Design has become thee Chandelier supplier in Southern Africa.
For us, Crystal is more than a sparkling decoration, it has become a design medium. By combining it with crystals and metals it becomes an artistic creation, one could say the crystals comes to life. We only use crystals imported from Austria, namely 30% lead, Spectra or Swarovski as per our customers request.
The manufacturing in George is a testament to that philosophy, as we manufacture traditional, modern, classic, retro and custom design creations.
