Choosing the correct awning or blind

If you are looking for some new awnings or blinds for your veranda, then here are a few suggestions of what to expect, make sure that you choose the right blind for what you want, if you want the room to be very dark then you will need to get blackout blind, if you want some light to come through during the day then a blind with some slats in would be preffered, try make these decisons before you invite someone over to measure for the blind. If you really wan to save yourself some time, and you know what type of blind you would like, do the measurement yourself using a metal tape measure then email it to the company.

All blinds are hand-woven to the customer’s requirements, we don’t make any standard sizes we weave it to the customer’s measurements. As the reed is a natural product there is basically no maintenance, we however spray it with a polyurethane clear varnish to protect it against discoloring when it rains. The process is quite labor intensive as there is no machine that can be used so all is done by hand, this shows how each awning that you get from Action Awnings is taken care of and produced with care for you.
