• This type of waterproofing can last up to 20 years on your roof when done right and maintained well.

If you have a torch on system on your roof, you should at least get the roof professionals to maintain it each and every 2 years for it can last longer.

Maintaining it includes checking and re-sealing the joints where required, sealing where its cracking (it can crack due to different weather hazards) and painting it with aluminium based silver paint.

The other thing which can help the waterproofing system to last longer is the slope of the concrete slab. When constructing your concrete roof slab, you should be able see where the slope is going with your naked eyes. With this, definitely water will manage floor away from the roof.
