- ensure that the gutters have enough slope to allow the water to slope out to the down pipe.

- regullar cleaning of gutters will ensure down pipe doesnt get blocked.

It will also ensure water doesnt sit in tge gutter and break it or cause rust.

- once a in a while repair with rust paint to prolong life of the gutters

-when getting new gutters ensure that you get SABS aproved products.
