Baby Furniture

Your baby will probably spend more time in the nursery than anywhere else, so that room needs to be safe. Choosing your baby room furniture is one of the most important first steps you will need to take when designing your child's room.

The crib for your baby will be used often and needs to be steardy and must be able to last as usually it will be used between 2-3 years. Some cribs come with extra draws and holders for things that make your life slightly easier. Always keep an eye out for these as they are very handy when you spend most of your time in this room.  Many parents go for space- and money-saving portable, travel, or mini-cribs. Your mattress in your cot must fit very snuggly so that there is no space for your baby to hurt yourself. 

 When choosing your changing table make sure that it is big enough to keep all esentials on hand, it is a large safety hazard to leave the baby unnsatended on the table while looking for things you need. Make sure that your change table is very sturdy as the shifting baby could cause the table to rock if it is not, spillages occuring on the tale could be the baby in danger.  If you want your baby to be comfortable during this time buy a small baby matt, these provide padding for the baby which may allow it to clam down during the process.
