When choosing your stair carpet in your house it is important to do proper research on the durablilty of your carpet. Even if you do prefer the look and feel of hardwood stairs  it is still a good idea, even if it is in the form of a runner on the stairs. This adds safety for you and your family, the carpet should be of great quality as there is lots of foot traffic on the stairs and the gravity of the staurs adds greater pressure than normal floor.

It is also very important to know how to clean your carpet, as there is so much foot traffic on the stairs it is also good to do research on how to clean the carpet without damaging the fabric. When choosing your carpet remember to measure the surface area of the stairs so that you can work out how much you will be spending on your stairs in total, it can be very deceptive when choosing your carpet that all of a sudden you are paying much more than you thought when originally deciding
