As Archade Design Studios we will be involved throughout the conception, design and construction process, adapting our plans according to budget constraints, environmental factors or client needs. We operate as part of an overall project design team, working closely with a range of construction professionals from quantity surveyors to building services engineers.

Our typical work activities include:
- creating building designs and highly detailed drawings both by hand and by using specialist computer-aided design (CAD) applications
- liaising with construction professionals about the feasibility of potential projects
- working around constraining factors such as town planning legislation, environmental impact and project budget
- working closely with a team of other professionals such as building service engineers, construction managers, quantity surveyors and architectural technologists
- applying for planning permission and advice from governmental new build and legal departments
- writing and presenting reports, proposals, applications and contracts
specifying the requirements for the project
- adapting plans according to circumstances and resolving any problems that may arise during construction
- playing a part in project and team management
- travelling regularly to building sites, proposed locations and client meetings

    Exceptional Vision and Service
    We have been working with Knowledge Makombe of Archade Studios on our new house development at Royal Ascot, Milnerton for a few weeks now. Having worked with other architects/draughtsmen who proved to be unscrupulous, we were worried at the beginning of our relationship with him, but after the first few meetings and discussions we realised that we had found someone who could tuck into our vision and become an instant part of it. That was the person we wanted to interpret our vision for us.

    Loved their Professionalism
    We engaged Archade Design Studios to do an extension to our house @ Parklands and their director, Knowledge Makombe, was involved right through the project. From the onset, we felt confident and safe in the way they handled themselves and in the way they explained the processes to us.
