Post 40 Build it Journey

I was up early but alas no beach walk due to inclement weather and an itch to get going. I headed off to the mighty city of PE and well armed with a visit strategy from Louis Hattingh of Mega Build It who kindly went through the best way to visit all the PE stores in one day.
First up was Motherwell Build It where I met with Bulelwa who was very kind to me and I had a great first meeting of the day. I then was at the Kwanobuhle Build It to meet with owner David Goldberg and his manager Michael Mubvanyika. The meeting had a rocky start to be honest as Michael pressed me as to why his store should be listed on our site. I am pleased to say though that the meeting went from strength to strength and so much so that David eventually drove his car halfway to Kirkwood ahead of me to make sure I did not get lost and got there safely. This was a good half hour and many kilometres and it was really super of him. I really liked Michel and we strayed from Homeimprovement4u.co.za and Build It after going through everything and discussed many topics, which were both entertaining, informative and at times full of great advice for me. Best of all was getting David and Michael enthusiastic about the site after as I say a rather dubious start. This trip could not be more interesting and some days actually fascinating. Sometimes challenging too
I then had the long drive to Kirkwood and met with Deon Bonnet who was a very nice guy. Kirkwood looks like a really lovely place but I had no time to explore as it was well past lunch time and I still had to get back to PE and continue my day. It was a huge day.
I next visited Stanford Build It meeting with all time good guy Raymond Olifant who was also one of the busiest guys on the planet. How the Build It owners and managers keep it up day after day with their awesome service and always friendly demeanour is nothing short of unbelievable. And then to have time for me when a hundred people are clamoring for their attention. Super humans I think!
